Delete your account

For anyone with a Graymat login — on the web or in the Graymat app for Android and iPhone. Two ways to ask, one person who processes it, and a plain list of what goes and what stays.

i.Ask from the app

Open the Graymat app → More → your account (your email, at the top of the Account section) → Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. The app shows that your request was received and when.

ii.Or ask by email

Write to privacy@graymat.ai from the email address you sign in with, and say you want your Graymat account deleted. If you can no longer sign in, or the button is not available to your login, this is the way. We may reply to that same address to confirm it is really you before acting.

iii.What happens next

Every request is handled by a person, within 7 days, who confirms by email. It is not instant on purpose: a login is woven into a business’s order history, and removing one should never be a side effect of a tap.

  • Deleted: your login — your name and email in our sign-in system — the notification registration of every phone you used the app on, the notification subscription of every browser you used Graymat in, your team-chat profile (phone, birthday, title and about text), your notification inbox, your read markers and your list of people you blocked in the team chat. You can no longer sign in, and you receive nothing more from Graymat. The request record is deleted once it has been carried out; our confirmation email to you, and the email thread if you wrote to us, is the record.
  • Backups: copies in our encrypted backups age out within a further 90 days.
  • Kept, because it is not yours alone: the record of the work you did for a business — for example which orders you confirmed or packed (with your name), or messages you sent in the team chat (with your user ID; they show as “Teammate” once your login is deleted) — stays in that business’s history. We hold it as the business’s processor: ask the business about it, and if you write to us we pass your request on within 5 working days. That history belongs to the business, which can delete it under its own agreement with us (Privacy Policy, section x).
  • On your phone: from version 1.0.14, the next time the app opens after your account is deleted — or when you sign out — it deletes its saved courier labels and load sheets, hand-over receipts, remembered answers and settings, and cancels its call-back reminders. Photos and team-chat images it cached stay until the phone clears them or you uninstall the app. On iPhone, your sign-in token can remain in the Keychain after uninstalling, until you next sign out.
Two cases we ask you to sort out first. If you are the only administrator of a workspace, hand administration to someone else before deleting — otherwise the business would be locked out of its own account. If we ever make deletion instant, this page will say so first. If the whole business is leaving Graymat, the business owner asks at privacy@graymat.ai and the business’s data is exported or deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.
